This is a fix for the Makerparts XS printer.

That printer has several issues to align the leadscrew for the Z axis.

After a lot of test, I developed this kit to reduce notably the wobble and increase the layer quality.

Bill of materials:

1 x M5 t-nut (to attach de bearing support to the profile)

1 x M5x8mm Screw

1 x leadscrew (the original 2mm per steps, or a 8mm per step)

1 x 608zz bearing

1 x 8x5 flexible coupler

Assembly:

  • Put the bearing support on top position
  • Insert the 608zz into the bearing support
  • Pass the leadscrew screwing the trapezoidal fix
  • Let the leadcrew supported to the base
  • Adjust the flexible coupler at leadscrew top
  • Screw the Z motor, and dont forget screw the coupler to the motor.

This fix generate a strong and precise Z advance, and free from the X axis.

That is all, try this, leave your comments, and enjoy it.
