Thanks for the great design @teookie! After I saw the big difference in my cooling performance, I invested some time to add 2 LED features to illuminate the shadow area of the extruder; they are the smallest I was able to find @ 3mm 24V pre-wired.
They do brighten the extruder area , but I would like to find an even brighter version of these LED's. I may have to switch out the resistors on mine to lower values to get more brightness.

As noted the LEDs I used is 24V pre-wired and connectorized, with wiring routed through the main bundle to the Einsy board, connected straight to the 24V terminals, so when the printer is on, these LEDs are on.
Printing notes: I used clear Polylite PC from Polymaker. This was to allow for as much diffused light to brighten the extruder as possible. Of course you can use any color you'd like. The choice to use PC is to better handle the high temperatures since it's one of the closest components to the heat block.
