A simple remix to add vent holes in the back of the LCD Back Cover, which had already been remixed to remove the screw holes in favor of a single cutout, to make room for the screw that secures the display assembly to the printer. While looking for a back cover, I wanted one that did not require new screws or modifications to the printer. I also realized that a lot of comments requested or raved about having vent holes for air flow. I found the snug fit LCD Back Cover and remixed it to include some hexagonal vent holes.
Print exactly as the original…on the side. I printed this long in the Y-axis (the print was mostly front to back movement). This greatly reduces side to side shaking that can cause the print to come off the surface. I printed with a 0.4mm nozzle using black PETG and a 0.2mm layer height. Can also be printed with PLA.
