This socket is meant to be mounted to a BOPLA ET-215 enclosure (size 120 x 80 x 57 mm³) for ~18€. It therefore can utilize two of the original mounting holes of the case. The two others need to be drilled, because the holder had to be made smaller to be able to get the battery off the socket again.

Like this it can power the device you built in the case. I built a DPS5005 in it (a DPS3003 or DPS3005 would have been sufficient).

For printing you will need two supports at the overhang.

Pause the printing, when the four hex-holes are complete to lay nuts in them. Like this you will have metal-threads that will hold perfectly.

The flat connectors are crimped to the cable, a small cable tie is wrapped around it and placed in the recess for strain releaf and then glued in with some hot melt glue. I filled it over the top and cut away the excess with a box cutter. I also cut some slots in a temporarily used piece of wood to hold the crimps while applying the glue.
